Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Wisdom Method Enterprises LLC d/b/a The Wisdom Method ("we," "us") collects on biz.thewisdommethod.com and through the Incubator and the VIP Day, and how we use it. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
What we collect
- When you request the free chapter: your first name and email address.
- When you buy: your name, email, shipping address and payment details. Stripe processes payments; we never see or store your full card number.
- When you take part: what you share in live sessions, which are recorded for members; your messages by email and, for VIP clients, by Voxer; and the business information you share during coaching.
- When you visit the site: aggregate visit statistics through Vercel Web Analytics, such as the page, the referring site, country or region, browser and device type. It doesn't use third-party cookies or identify individual visitors, and its session identifier is discarded after 24 hours (Vercel).
How we use it
- To send the free chapter and the emails you signed up for
- To process payments, ship your book and give you access to the membership
- To deliver coaching and support, and to answer your questions
- To send account notices, such as receipts, renewal reminders and price-change notices
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site
We send email through Kit. When you sign up, Kit asks you to confirm your address. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails doesn't cancel a paid membership, and members still receive account notices such as receipts and renewal reminders.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Stripe for payments, plus the pay-later provider you choose, such as Klarna or Afterpay
- Kit for email
- Vercel for hosting this site and its visit statistics
- Google Fonts, which loads the site's typefaces and receives your browser's IP address when it does
- Voxer for VIP Day support
- Zoom for live sessions
- Shipping carriers to deliver your book
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep email subscriber details until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete them. Session recordings stay in the member library while the Incubator runs. Coaching notes are kept for 3 years after your VIP Day, then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Email info@thewisdommethod.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll respond within 30 days. Some records, like payment records, may need to be kept for legal reasons. If your state gives you more rights, we'll honor them.
Children
The Incubator and the VIP Day are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who on our team can see your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think your account or information has been misused.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and email members about material changes.
